On Jun.20, 2016, Mark Ward, Senior Director of Caterpillar Supply Chain, visited Dongyue for guidance. Accompanied by other four people, he affirmed Dongyue’s work on CPS(Caterpillar Production System), BIQ(Build in Quality) and LEAN(Lean Production).
Dongyue Team always promotes management philosophy and tools actively in current management and put them into practice. The company introduced 6 sigma in 2008, then bring in CPS in 2010 and later deployed BIQ in 2014. In 2015, Dongyue began to create its own production system MTPS (MT Production System, MT stand for Dongyue) and introduced LEAN. Years of efforts has helped the company to build excellent product quality and win praises of customers.
In practice, Dongyue has set up MTPS promotion principle in which CI(Continuous Improvement), QW(Quick Win) and RIW(Black Belt Project) as its frame, meanwhile carried out series of specific improvement projects and generated several outstanding projects. It also has cultivated some management talents who become the company’s main forces of management.
For quality, Dongyue has formed a quality control system in which IQA(Incoming Material Assurance), QG(Quality Gate) and PDI(Pre-delivery Inspection) as its mainline. It covers 8 value stream and has finished Inspection Records of 63 different products. In addition, it has set up 6 Quality Gates with collection and analysis of F/M/N statistics, then making improvement and continuously meeting our customers’ quality requirement.
Dongyue will persistently promote Lean Management philosophy and keep self-improving to provide our customers with more stable and higher-quality products, meanwhile providing a better self-fulfilling platform to employees and contributing more power for social development.
